Dr. Andrew Robbins
Dr. Robbins is an assistant professor at The University of Texas at Tyler in the department of Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on orthopedic and whole-body biomechanics, tissue biomechanics, and medical device design and entrepreneurship. He teaches courses on orthopedic biomechanics, medical device design, mechanical measurements, experimental measurements and techniques, and innovation in engineering and medicine. Prior to coming to UT Tyler, he taught in the departments of multidisciplinary engineering, mechanical engineering, and biomedical engineering at Texas A&M University, as well as in the School of Engineering Medicine Engineering Medicine program at Texas A&M University.
